White Rava


Rava, colloquially referred to as semolina or suji, is a granular form of maida. Similarly to maida, rava is produced from finely crushed wheat endosperm that is bran and germ-free. Rava is used to make idlis, uthpam, upma, halwa, and laddus. Rava is nutritionally equivalent to maida flour. The item is used as a batter ingredient in a number of Indian cuisines.
